The Love That You Seek: It is You

Forever young is what spirit is, for it never ages.  Here we are and those we love may come and go, and yet at all times we are never alone because our loved ones, our guides and the angelic realms are here to assist and love us unconditionally at all times.  We come here to earth, separate and separated, and we seek to the company of others, and these others can fill us with beauty and love, friendship and happiness.  Yet the mind believes that we are in truth alone, for it sees the separation of our skin, it sees that we are individual.  And so we can at times feel lonely, and long for the warmth of one that we have known, one that we feel has somehow been ’left behind’. 

This feeling of longing, or desiring to meet someone who fulfills us completely can be felt very strongly.  It can be felt within the heart, and within the soul, and can create a background feeling that something or someone is ‘missing’ in our lives.  These feelings can become stronger as time goes by and more difficult to ignore – for, often, these feelings do not ‘fit’ with our life that may to all outward appearances be happy and abundant.  Rest assured that there is a reason for these feelings, and a reason for this ‘unease’ that can create feelings of listlessness, sadness, and the urge to find that which is missing.  Nothing is by accident, most of all feelings, for feelings do not lie… and so often it is clear and obvious that we do not choose to feel what we are feeling.

There can be many reasons for these feelings… and it is so true that another can ‘awaken’ us to discover parts of ourselves that we thought we had lost, or had forgotten existed.  Meeting another who resonates with us on a soul and heart level can literally shake us to the foundations of who we thought we were.  And yet there is always a purpose to such events. 

It can be helpful to understand that those who help us to shine more brightly are doing just that: helping us to remember our innermost essence, helping us to feel those things within ourselves that we may have missed for so long, and helping us to share ourselves… something that brings such a sense of freedom and joy that we can believe that it is the other who has created these feelings within us.  On one level this is so true, for it is thanks to the other that we have been given the opportunity to remember and expresss with joy and happiness long-forgotten parts of ourselves, and we can be filled with gratitude, joy, and love towards that person.  And yet on another level those feelings and emotions that we are experiencing come from within us… we are the ones feeling these things.  In truth it is we who get to choose if we want to open the door to the feelings of love, joy and happiness… and it is the other who is the key to unlocking these feelings.

This is a blessed and joyful experience, and to have such an experience of awakening can be life-changing, challenging and a time of great growth for the heart, the soul and the physical body.  Once ‘awoken’ it is not possible to close the door on the newly-refreshed feelings, and this can be the cause of sudden changes in people’s lives, especially if the ‘key’ person chooses to move on… And yet all unfolds in perfection, because no matter what happens there is a greater purpose and design that is unfolding that the soul recognises and that has been chosen as part of the unfolding of the Divine life path on earth.   

In reality it is not possible for us to go wrong, or to go astray, nor could we ever be on the wrong track.  That is impossible.  All that unfolds is perfect.  Within this, we have the possibility of discovering the secret to Divine and unconditional love in the experiences that come forth for us in our every-day lives.  Even when we lose a connection to one who has touched us deeply, still we gain, for in that losing we are forced to turn inwards, and in that inward movement we are given the opportunity to discover perhaps the greatest treasures of all time. For, when we turn inwards we are given the potential to find the love that we believe we have ‘lost’ - for in truth that which we seek we possess within.  The greatest love of which we are capable resides within us already, although over times we have believed it to exist outside of us in the form of another or in the great love and gratitude that we can feel towards the God-Source.  It is true to say that those who exist outside of us are a reflection of what we hold inside, if we could but recognise this.  In truth we are the love that we seek.  It is the truest expression of our Divine nature that we seek, and what we find in the world around us is but a reflection of the magnificent glory of love that we already are.

Know that when those we love follow their own Divine guidance and move away or depart from our lives that they are in truth not gone.  They have moved away from us, but they are not gone.  And if those we love leave this earth, then remember that they have simply changed form and their essence exists still.  Depending upon your beliefs they may even be able to connect with you in this new form.  In fact, they may be supporting you whether you believe this is possible or not.  And in time, when the moment comes for you to leave this earthly life, then you will be able to rejoin.  Yet you do not need to spend the time whe you are alive pining for that person, for the love that you seek lives on within you: you knew the love of the one who has ’gone’, you are the one who felt that love… and this is your experience and therefore your love.  So in truth at all times you are able to reconnect to that love that you knew, that love for which you long: it is within you, it is part of you, and it can never leave you because it is in fact yours.  Don’t allow yourself to be ’fooled’ by the beliefs of your intelligent and active mind, for the mind sees separation and therefore believes in this truth – but this is only one version of the truth.  The heart knowns differently, for the mind can feel the love that is has known whenever it chooses – whenever you choose… all you have to do is allow yourself to feel it. 

Realise that the difficult and challenging times that we experience in life are designed to force us to go within, to look within, to find our inner strength, and to persist until we find the beauty and the love that we seek, that satiates us and brings us ultimate fulfilment: the beauty and love that we hold within.

There are many who would say that they have found such beauty in another, or that they have found ecstasy in a pill, or heaven in a chocolate – and yet, it is within ourselves that the truest beauty exists… the Divine, the heavenly, the god-given, the forever, the guiding light that leads to the greatest treasure imaginable: the treasure that is you, and always shall be you, forever growing and deepening in intensity as you explore further.  This love is forever welcoming you and providing for you, without bounds, this love that you so much long for that exists for you at all times.

When you think of another with longing, when you desire to connect and to share, remember that it is you that you wish to meet, you whom you desire to experience in your fullest beauty of expanded expression… and know that at the same time all of creation lovingly waits for you to share your beauty with the world.  The god-source, the realms of angels, the sky, the earth and all your loved ones on earth and in spirit all wish to see you happy, to see you filled with love.  

You are part of All That Is, you are part of Divine creation which is born of love.  By discovering and sharing your love with the world and all of creation you are adding to that love, and allowing that love to be expressed in your unique way: by sharing yourself you add your particular resonance of love to the whole of creation.  You cannot be left out for you are meant to be here – you are a very important, valuable and loved part of all of creation and only you are able to create and live as you do.  In this you are unique, as we all are.  Therefore, when you allow yourself to experience life whatever that means, with no restriction and no blocks, the more you are adding to the beautiful fabric of creation.  

All that you are is Divine and it is perfect, for you are part of creation, part of All That Is, part of the Divine order that lies behind life in all its forms of expression.   You are your very own Divine expression, and all the love that you long for lies within you, a treasure for you to discover as soon as you make that choice.  Delay not the golden hand of trust upon your very own heart.  Delay not the opportunity to receive the golden light of unbounding joy and happiness.  Choose that today.  Choose to receive, and open your heart and arms to receive that which already exists within you… safe, loving, passionate, caring, Divine, abundant, kind, joyous…. whatever it is that you long for in your heart, it is yours, and yours forever, for it is you.
